Give praise to DSPC Restorations for their no nonsense professional approach

Barry Cook from the National Trust wrote the following letter:

Nether Alderley Mill. (Corn Mill ) circa 1290.
The scope of work was to make good the central shafts lower wallower gear drive to the lower pit wheel. The drive consisting of two gears approx 6 ft Dia weighing 2 tons. The whole project was carried by Guy from the jobs scope of works to the risk assessment and then the actual lift and levelling off of the gears.

Their no nonsense professional approach, meant that the work was completed with a day to spare, meaning that we could open to the general public earlier than planned.

Quarry Bank Mill & Styal Estate.
In addition further work has been carried out by their company at Quarry Bank Mill. Mainly steam pipe fabrication work, but also the emergency repair to a fractured roof truss. As the Mill Manager / Engineer for the Trust we are incredibly careful about who we use on restoration work and I have nothing but praise for this group and wish them well for the future.
